Of the many valuable skills I learned while taking the Personal Safety Course from David Overstreet's Tae Kwon Do Academy, the most significant was how one could avoid situations in which she/he might become vulnerable.  I thought that this was particularly important advice for college-age women and men, as it communicated to them how to be aware in social situations.

I was also struck by the professionalism of the staff who assisted Mr.Overstreet with the class. They showed respect and sensitivity toward  all of the students. The class was fun, informative and communicated that we all have the power and the right to defend ourselves against anyone who might intend to harm us. Kudos to Overstreet Tae Kwon Do Academy!
