We were looking for something that seemed to missing in our children’s daily activity, something that was lasting; something that would stay with them for the rest of their lives, an activity that they could do together, one that would challenge them and keep them competitive. After looking around the area and receiving some testimonial from some acquaintances did we decide to call Mr. Overstreet at ‘Overstreet Taekwondo Academy’.
From their first introduction to the program until several years later have the highly trained staff made our two children feel welcome and comfortable in this very structured and disciplined academy. We have made their round trip trek of just less than 100 miles each visit, at least 3 times a week part of our commitment to their success in the goals that they have set for themselves. An ability to compete locally and internationally has made it all worth every moment, every mile, and even every disappointment that has been placed before us and them.
Their mother and I both feel that the introduction of the tenants of ‘Taekwondo’ have played a major part in our children thru all of there daily activities and has made a very big impact on the way they carry themselves. Tiger Rock itself has a reputation of excellence and to have an academy that personifies this excellence available for us has been a great opportunity. We wish the academy continued success.We hope that this will be helpful in achieving your goals. Richele and I have been noting less than pleased with the growth that we have seen in our children and can only hope that they stay excited about continuing their training in your facility.
